Svea’s First Birthday

July 27th was Svea’s first birthday. Wow, that year really flew by. I can’t believe my baby is already one! We celebrated her special day by going to swimming lessons, then shared popsicles with friends at the pool.

While Svea napped after swim class, Soren and I decorated, made wrapping paper, wrapped presents and made a birthday cake.

Soren fell asleep early from all the excitement, so Svea got to enjoy her birthday dinner and cake by herself with Mommy and Daddy.

One Year Old Svea:

She was spoiled by presents, but her favorite was her new baby doll and stroller.

Soren sang happy birthday and ate cake the next morning.

Svea's doctor visits yielded these stats:

Weight: 21 lbs 3 oz (90th percentile)
Height: 30.5 in (50th percentile)
Head Circ: 19.0 in (Above 99th percentile)

We also followed up with her urologist. Tests show that she still had moderate reflux on both sides but no sign of renal scarring, so we are discussing a few options but will probably continue with the same treatment until next year.
