Wow!
Well, we have had our first official "Soren is REALLY sick" week. Soren woke up Tuesday morning and immediately threw up in bed. That was the beginning of a very bad and very yucky couple of days. He was a real grump up until Sunday - I am assuming that he just didn't feel very good.
We were able to go do a few fun things last week. We spent several afternoons with our friends, the Hawes. Soren is just a few weeks older than their son Boston, so Raynie and I helped each other through a few boring spots. Soren loves doing things out of the house, so he loved spending time with them.
Saturday night we spent at a friend's sweet sixteen birthday party. They had a DJ playing dance music and a moving light show. Soren was fascinated, but when the girls took him onto the dance floor, he got a little overwhelmed. He just stood near our table and stared and stared at the lights. They did play one Bachata song. Bachata is a Domincan style of music that Erik grew to love on his mission. He plays it at home, and Soren seemed to recognize the style and started dancing. It was so cute! We also were able to go clothes shopping with Erik and pick Soren out some snazzy new duds for this summer. He grows out of everything so fast!
Soren continues to grow more confident in his walking abilities. He is growing more self aware. It is fun to see his personality come out more, but challenging when he doesn't agree with me and throws a tantrum. I especially love the new angry scream he has started.
Enjoy the pics and videos.
